As such, it will be very interesting to see who becomes the next official captain, as Harry Kane was the skipper for the Three Lions during their last World Cup qualifier, which ended as a 2-2 draw against Scotland.
Given that Malta have been already eliminated with zero points and England are sitting on top of Group F, this game is pretty much a formality and three points are all but guaranteed.
