The Portuguese agent stopped by Camp Nou stadium to discuss Andre Gomes' future, adding a former client to his to-do list

With the transfer window coming to a close, Barcelona still wants to add some talent to their squad. But before there are any more signings, the club needs to offload some of their current players.

In order to comply with Financial Fair Play rules, Los Blaugranas could be interested in listening to offers for two of their midfielders: Arda Turan and André Gomes. Both footballers are Jorge Mendes' clients, and today, the "super agent" stopped by Los Blaugranas stadium to discuss their future.

Gomes has been linked with a move to Juventus, while Turan could leave Los Blaugranas to join an EPL team. If that option proves to be unsuccessful, a return to his country wouldn't be off the table.

According to Marca, Mendes' only statement after leaving the meeting was about one of his former clients: Angel Di María. While Mendes isn't the Argentine's agent anymore, his relationship with PSG's owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi could prove to be crucial for "El Fideo" to find a spot at Camp Nou. Nevertheless, Mendes denied such claims as he left the premises.

"Di Maria playing for Barcelona? No, that absolutely not true," Mendes stated.

Barcelona's main target is still Phillippe Coutinho, but time is of the essence for Los Blaugranas to complete that transfer. With such a poor performance in this year's transfer window, it would be surprising if the Spanish giants can close the deal with so little time left to do so.
