Diego Maradona's name has always been involved in controversy, and this time, it won't be any different.
The Argentinean legend stepped up to show his support to Venezuelan president Nicolás Maduro, who has been harshly criticized for his tight-gripped regime. In his post, written in three different languages, Maradona admits he is ready to fight for the Venezuelan president, as he is willing to "put on a uniform" to defend the South American president.

Maradona's comments raised a few eyebrows among fans, who slammed his political views and even mocked how and why he supported Maduro's presidency.
