The Mexican ace will return to the English top flight following his loan deal with Real Madrid and two successful seasons at Bayer Leverkusen.

Mexican striker Javier "Chicharito" Hernández has reportedly agreed to return to the EPL, but his new team will not be the one that granted him his first shot at the big time.

El Tri's all-time top scorer will join West Ham United after the Hammers triggered his buyout clause. The team was desperate to sign a striker, and Chicharito fills that role perfectly.

This move benefits all parties included, as the Hammers will sign a reliable striker, the player will get a significant wage increase, and Bayer Leverkusen parted ways with the footballer while earning some cash in the process.

Sources close to the negotiation told ESPN FC that the "Little Pea" will earn around €145,000 per week with the Hammers.

The Mexican striker became Bayer Leverkusen's best goal scorer for two straight seasons.

Pending a medical, the Hammers will unveil the player on Monday.
