Bravo leads the way for Chile vs Portugal

Claudio Bravo dominates Portugal with three key saves in PK shootout

June 28, 2017 By Oscar Rojas
Manchester City's shot-stopper denied all of A Selecao Das Quinas penalties, leaving CR7 & Co. without more silverware.

When in doubt, Chile knows Claudio Bravo will always deliver for them.

The Chilean goalkeeper showed his massive skills guarding La Roja's net by denying Portugal's three penalties in the final shootout, leading the South American champions to one more final for the third year in a row.

Arturo Vidal, Charles Aranguiz and Alexis Sánchez scored for Chile, while Ricardo Quaresma, Joao Moutinho and Nani took matter into their own hands but failed to convert for the European champions.

Cristiano Ronaldo was expected to take a shot against Bravo, but he was scheduled to be the fifth penalty taker for the Portuguese side.

Here's Bravo's first save against Quaresma.

Fans around the world praised the Chilean goalie for his performance. Have a look at some of their comments.
