Real Madrid and Barcelona will both be in action on Sunday evening in La Liga. Los Blancos will play away to Real Zaragoza before Barca tackle Real Sociedad.
Now Raul Albiol hopes for the best to happen for his team. Looking ahead to the fixture, the Spaniard stated:

“The match against Real Zaragoza will be difficult and dangerous, because they are fighting to move out from the relegation zone.

“They’ll try to do their best in front of their home supporters. They will concentrate hard, and we’ve got to avoid making them feel confident.”

Real Zaragoza are in fact well buried at the very bottom of La Liga’s table standings. Sunday’s hosts have been enduring a tough time in the Primera Division having recorded only 1 victory in 14 matches. Meanwhile, the situation is far more different for Jose Mourinho’s team.

Real Madrid’s only defeat of the season – which occurred at the Camp Nou – means that the Spanish giants are 2 points behind La Liga leaders Barcelona since match-day 13. The chase is on for Madrid who are now second-best behind the Catalans in terms of goal difference and number of victories in the league this season.

Football fans interested in the competition between Barca and Real at the top of La Liga are expecting the second leg of El Clasico to be the title decider and defender Raul Albiol is ready to help his side overcome any challenges.

“Real Madrid and Barcelona took more points than any other team in the league last year and, if we both keep this up, this season will be very similar to last year’s,” Albiol explained.

“The return leg at the Bernabeu will be vital, but there is still a long way and a team can drop points in any game. We have to focus on winning each match.

“We are only two points shy of Barcelona and we want to cut that distance short.”

Real Madrid could go on top of La Liga standings for at least 2 hours as Barcelona vs Real Sociedad is set to close match-day 15 with an 8:00pm GMT kick-off. Los Blancos will need to defeat underdogs Real Zaragoza to accomplish such a feat.
