Here's all you need to know about Toronto vs Sporting KC and Chicago Fire vs Montreal Impact MLS matches this weekend.

Toronto FC vs Sporting KC

There are so many similarities between Toronto FC and Sporting KC so far this season. Both teams are still unbeaten this season, they sit at the fifth spot in their respective conferences, and have five points each from their first three matches. One thing for sure is by the end of 90 minutes of the Friday clash, there could be a difference between the two sides.

The coincidence between these two teams just gets better - they both opened their 2017 campaign with two consecutive draws, before getting their first wins on March 18. Toronto beat their Canadian counterparts 2-0 while Sporting registered a 2-1 win over San Jose. The two sides scored two goals each over the weekend - that's another coincidence!

Toronto have a strong record at home having lost just two of their last nine home games (4 wins, 2 defeats, 3 draws). Over that period, they have kept three clean sheets.

On the other hand, Sporting have won only one of their last 16 away games (1 win, 9 defeats, 6 draws). And in 10 of those occasions, they have failed to score a goal.

Chicago Fire vs Montreal Impact

Bastian Schweinsteiger's arrival in Chicago has been the most trending topic this week in the MLS. The German midfield maestro could earn his debut on Saturday against their Eastern Conference counterparts.

The World Cup winner has already started training with the men in redChicago have only registered one win so far this season, which was against Real Salt Lake. They had previously drawn against Columbus in their opening weekend, and most recently lost 4-0 to Atlanta United.

Montreal, on the other hand, are far worse - they have not registered  a win so far this season. Mauro Biello's men started their campaign with a 1-0 defeat to San Jose on March 4, registered a 2-2 draw with Sounders, then drew 1-1 with NYCFC last weekend.

These two sides have played each other 13 times, with Montreal leading with five wins, four draws and four defeats. But the Impact have conceded scored 17 and conceded 20 against Chicago.

Montreal are under pressure to get their first win of the season but Chicago have renewed confidence thanks to Bastian's arrival. The hosts should be too hot to handle for the Canadian club this weekend.
