The latest round of the Premier League has passed, handing us two very interesting results in the title race. There were two title-ending losses, but Tottenham maintained pressure on Chelsea’s lead in the standings.
Arsenal were not able to contain the league leaders, and lost 3-1 to fall 12 points behind the Blues. There was also a shock 2-0 loss to Hull City for Liverpool, who now have only one win from their last 10 games.
Tottenham couldn’t beat Middlesbrough and are now second in the league. Here’s how the top half of the table looks.

Wenger: A specialist in failure vs. the top six
“Enough is enough” read a sign from a disgruntled Arsenal fan, as the Gunners lost 3-1, and were lucky not to concede more, against Chelsea. The defeat ended any hope they had of winning the title.
It also proved one thing: Wenger cannot roll with the punches against the league’s other top six clubs. The north London outfit have five points from six top-six clashes this season; Chelsea have 13.
And then there is this statistic:
0 - Arsenal haven't won any of their last 10 Premier League away games vs the other teams currently in the top six (W0 D5 L5). Intimidation.

Gabriel Jesus continues fine start
Are you wondering why Aguero’s future at Man City is being questioned? Because new-boy Gabriel Jesus has given Pep Guardiola food for thought.
The Brazilian’s perfect start to life in the Premier League has seen Kun drop to the bench. Jesus has scored in his first two starts, becoming only the fifth Man City player to do so.
5 - Gabriel Jesus is the 5th player to score on his first two PL starts for Man City (Geovanni, Robinho, Adebayor, De Bruyne). Flying.

Or maybe he might strike a good partnership with Aguero.
DID YOU KNOW?
12 – Tottenham are the only team in the Premier League yet to lose at home this season (W10 D2). Fortress.
