January is almost over, but there is still time for another transfer rumors involving the Red Devils and the Portuguese giants. According to Record, the Premier League outfit are close to wrapping up a deal for Goncalo Guedes.
If this report is true, and the deal is finalized, it could be an excellent piece of business for Mourinho’s side. Guedes, although an unfinished product, is a prodigy hailed as the next Cristiano Ronaldo back in his home country.
He has found the back of the net only seven times in 28 games, but his seven assists has been crucial. The fact that Guedes is only 20 means his best years are ahead of him.
The move will reportedly cost Man United €30m, but given that they are the richest club in the world, that amount is peanuts to the 20-time Premier League winners.
