The official match ball for the 2017 MLS season has been revealed and you've to go love it! Designed by popular sports merchandise company Adidas, the design of the match ball features a high sense of creativity and the Adidas concepts of 'from the stadium to the streets and back again.'
It demonstrates how soccer transcends popular culture and also tells a pictorial story of the two countries participating in the MLS - USA and Canada - by featuring the flags of the two countries in a uniquely patriotic fashion. Speaking about the new sleek design Adidas senior director of soccer Ernesto Bruce said:
"The 2017 MLS official match ball attests to how year after year Adidas Soccer brings the world’s best innovative technology to the field of play.
"The 2017 Nativo’s blueprint showcases the spirit of Adidas Soccer and Major League Soccer blended through a creative design language that highlights the U.S. and Canadian flags, while also featuring a unique texture that will inspire soccer fans across North America to take their game from the stadium to the street."

The 2017 MLS season, which will be the 22nd season of the competition, is set to kick off on March 3, 2017 and end in December 2017 with the MLS Cup. Atlanta United and Minnesota United are the new participants in the expanded league, which features Seattle Sounders as the defending champions and FC Dallas as the defending Supporters' Shield champions.
