With the AFCON 2017 just around the corner, the Columbus Crew will add some African talent to their squad by signing defender Jonathan Mensah as the team's second Designated Player.
The 26-year-old, who has played for clubs such as Udinese, Granada and FC Anzhi, has played in two FIFA World Cups, and will bring his experience to the U.S. on a permanent deal.
This is how the team revealed the news to their fans.
