Anyone who doubted Chelsea’s title credentials at the beginning of the season have been proven wrong, as the Blues marched to an impressive 4-2 win over Stoke City. Their last game of 2016, it was full of goals and excitement.
Twice the home side lead by a one goal margin; twice Stoke fought back to equalize. When the game was tied 2-2, Antonio Conte’s boys stepped up their game and wrapped up the win thanks to goals from Willian and Diego Costa.
The table-toppers also tied a Premier League record with their victory. Their 13th straight win, Chelsea drew level with the record held by Arsenal for the most number of consecutive wins in a single season.
