The Red Devils were unable to take the lead after 45 minutes against Karanka’s boys, as the first half ended 0-0. However, the hosts should have been leading 1-0 courtesy of yet another acrobatic goal from Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Known for his kung-fu kick goals, the Swede pulled off a similar move to beat Victor Valdes after an Anthony Martial cross. However, referee Lee Mason disallowed the goal and awarded the away side a foul.
The reason: Ibrahimovic raised his leg and then crashed into the opposing goalkeeper. The former PSG striker had lowered his leg before their collision, though, leaving many to blast the match official on Twitter.

#LeeMason has to be reprimanded for how poor he's been in his officiating today. Absolutely abysmal.
