Chelsea fans might find this story amusing.

Chelsea are currently in the driving seat in the Premier League. 12 straight wins see the Blues top the standings, and they will be hopeful of a 13th consecutive win when they host Stoke on Saturday.

Thus, news that a very important Chelsea man picked up a calf strain over the festive period will worry the supporters. However, the knock happened to the unlikeliest of men.

According to the Daily Mail, it was none other than manager Antonio Conte who hurt himself. The report claims that this unfortunate incident occurred during a training session over Christmas.

The Italian, known for his grueling training techniques, joined the Chelsea players for one of his own drills. However, he strained his calf whilst running with his boys. Luckily, the injury was nothing serious.

With the Stamford Bridge side flying high in the English top-flight, they will be happy to have their Italian boss at the dugout day in, day out. The former Juventus boss will lead his men into their weekend clash hoping to win, as it can see them increase their lead depending on the result of the Liverpool vs. Man City game.
