Yaya's agent slams Pep once again

Yaya’s agent aggravates war-of-word with Guardiola, slams Pep in interview

September 21, 2016 By Ali M.
It's safe to say Dimitri Seluk and Pep Guardiola don't see eye to eye.

Dimitri Seluk – Yaya Toure’s agent – continues his public criticism of Pep Guardiola. Meanwhile, the Ivorian rots on the bench as a result.

The agent has on several occasions slammed the Spanish tactician, laying into the Manchester City boss after Toure was left out of their Champions League squad.

This move by Seluk was not received well by the former Bayern Munich boss, who later admitted that the midfielder would only play for the Citizens again once his agent apologizes.

Seluk responded by claiming Guardiola “doesn't want players with personality”, citing his treatment of Yaya and Joe Hart as evidence. The agent has now followed that up by blasting the Spaniard once more.

Dimitri said in an interview Radio Barca (as per the Independent): “When Toure left the club to come to the City, Guardiola told him he was leaving to a s*** team.

"Now, Guardiola has come to this s*** team. Guardiola likes money more than football.”

The agent added: “I will not apologise to Guardiola. That’s 100 per cent sure.”

Seluk revealed earlier this month that the Ivorian will seek pre-contract agreements in January ahead of a summer exit. Regardless, his recent antics will only hinder Yaya’s first-team chances.

Since moving to the Etihad in 2010 from Barcelona for £24m, the 33-year-old has been one of the English giants’ most influential players en route to two Premier League titles.

Since Pep’s arrival, though, Toure has made only one start: the second-leg Champions League playoff clash with Steaua București. Yaya’s future with Manchester City doesn’t look like improving.
