Premier League giants Chelsea went to the break leading by two goals against newly-promoted side Burnley at the Stamford Bridge thanks to goals from Eden Hazard and Willian. But the former’s performance gave Chelsea fans the hopes of a better and more exciting 2016/17 season.
Earlier today, the Belgian international showed some flashes of his former ruthless self that saw him tear apart defenders at will. After scoring just six league goals in 44 games last season, the former Lille man seems to have reinvented himself. According to sports data company Opta, the 25-year-old has now scored six goals in his last eight league appearances for the Blues.
And based on his performance at the European Championship with Belgium despite their premature exit, Hazard is one of the key players to keep an eye on this season. A majority of Chelsea fans are already excited about his comeback. Check out the tweets below:
