Just over a month after leaving Arsenal due to a disagreement with Arsene Wenger over his role with Sky TV, Thierry Henry has already found working, taking up a coaching role with the Red Devils.
Luckily for Gooners, it’s not Manchester United but the Belgium national team, with the Gunners legend joining the European heavyweights as their assistant coach. The Frenchman tweeted after the announcement:
“Honoured to be assistant coach [for] Beligum. Thanks to Roberto Martinez & the Royal Belgian Football Association. Very excited. Can't wait.”

The World Cup winner was offered an opportunity to coach Arsenal’s Under-18s side, but Wenger insisted that only a fully-committed Henry would be welcomed.
As a result, the north London giants’ record goalscorer left in mid-July, but he will soon join up with Roberto Martinez to help coach Belgium.
Of course, many on Twitter were shocked by this news, as there were little to no signs that Thierry was on his way to join a national side.
Many believe Thierry’s new role is a stepping stone to greater things, possibly the main job at the Emirates. Others just couldn't believe how the Gunners legend ended up teaming with Martinez.
Henry must be delighted, his dream job is here.

Thierry Henry in Roberto Martinez's Belgium coaching staff is football's equivalent of sticking Paul McCartney in a Ringo Starr tribute band
