Manchester United fans took to Twitter to heap praise on their new superstar signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic who scored a brilliant scissor goal for the Red Devils against Galatasaray on his debut. Despite turning 35 this October, the Swedish player showed exactly why he would be a great addition to Jose Mourinho’s side in the upcoming season. He trapped Antonio Valencia’s cross on the right wing, and redirected the ball into the net with a brilliant bicycle kick, which sent fans in the Ullevi Stadium into wild cheers. Man United won the match 5-2.
And as expected, the celebration continued on Twitter as the club’s fans, and Zlatan’s fans in general, heaped praises on their idol. The former Barcelona man is expected to feature in Wayne Rooney’s testimonial against Everton on Wednesday before making his official Man United debut against Leicester City in the FA Community Shield the following weekend.
