Manchester United fans were on cloud nine on Friday, as rumors emerged claiming Paul Pogba had underwent and passed his medical with the Red Devils.
Popular belief is that the Frenchman’s Old Trafford return is just a matter of time, with personal terms and a world record transfer fee of £112m having already been agreed.
The Juventus star, however, was quick to squash the rumors. Taking to social media, the 23-year-old joked about undergoing his reported medical, posting a picture of himself at Universal Studio’s amusement park.
He then followed up that picture with another one, this time of him holding his orange “contract” with the hash tag #Nonsense.
Pogba wasn’t the only one to publicly deny having signed for the Red Devils, as his agent Mino Raiola took to Twitter to label journalists as “parrots”. Raiola then went on to clarify that there is no deal with the 20-time English Premier League champions.
