The yearly battle to decide which football video game simulation is the best is already underway, and one of the contenders delivered a huge blow today.

FC Barcelona and video game company Konami announced an exclusive partnership deal that will give the Japanese manufacturer rights to use the team's likeness in the Pro Evolution Series franchise for the next three years.

The company released today a Barcelona-themed trailer, along with a few in-game screenshots and cover art.

The game, set to be released in September, will allow the gamers to play with Barça aces such as Rivaldo and Belletti, who were present during the announcement.
