Benfica will host this friendly without the services of their Brazilian keeper Ederson. The 22-year-old underwent surgery on his right knee and is set to miss the start of the new season.

Furthermore, manager Vitória gave his thoughts on his team’s fitness after their recent victory against Wolfsburg, telling reporters:
