Team news:

Celtic will have a fully fit squad when they welcome the Premier League holders on Saturday. After their 3-0 win against Lincoln Red Imps, Brendan Rodgers told reporters:

"We’ve got a game Saturday. We’ll recover from tonight. A lot of players having their first 90 minutes of the season. We look forward to the trip next week. Difficult tie on artificial pitch. Case of just trying to ensure the players recover."

Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy is expected to be sidelined for this game after undergoing a wrist surgery on July 14.

In addition, Foxes’ defender Wes Morgan believes fitness his key after his side beat Oxford United 2-1, telling reporters:

“The players are playing and getting their fitness back, and the manager is testing different systems to have a look at everyone. It’s important to make sure everyone gets a good look and gets a runout. The main thing was to get some work into our legs.”

Morgan also spoke about the clash against the Scottish lads, saying:

“We’re looking forward to it. We’ve got some big games against some big opposition and everyone wants to play. We want to prove how good we can be against some of the best opposition in the world. We can’t wait to get going.

“This is the first game (Oxford) we’ve had and we’ve only been back in for two weeks, so we’ve got a few more weeks to go. Over the coming weeks, we’ll get fitter and fitter and it’s all building up to the new season.”
