BeIN Sports’ new channel beIN LaLiga has launched in Spain. This means a new way of enjoying La Liga live on TV and online for the network’s subscribers during the 2016-17 season and beyond.

Having started transmission very recently, beIN LaLiga has established itself as the new go-to source for extended coverage of La Liga, as far as match broadcasts and exclusive programming are concerned. The new channel operated by Mediapro – the Spanish multimedia communications group that boasts ownership of rights to major football competitions including the English Premier League – replaces Abono Fútbol and Canal+ Liga.

BeIN LaLiga will exclusively show 8 matches every game week during the Spanish League’s 2016-17 season, with live coverage of FC Barcelona and Real Madrid’s matches guaranteed. The first Clasico of the season will also be available on the channel, whereas most of the Copa del Rey will be aired as well. Fellow sports channel Gol is however set to broadcast the Spanish Cup semifinals.

BeIN LaLiga’s matches will be available on beIN Sports Connect España, extending live streaming access to iOS and Android devices. The offer is also set to be enjoyed by subscribers of Vodafone TV, Orange TV and Movistar TV.

Matches may additionally be available on the network’s YouTube channel beIN Sports Live, which already streams live UEFA Champions League and Europa League matches among other leagues to premium subscribers in Spain for €9.99/month.
