Newcastle United's Moussa Sissoko has been given a £35 million transfer price tag by his Premier League club.

The attacking midfielder shined in France this summer and has caught the attention of Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund after his impressive performances at Euro 2016.

Despite, manager Rafael Benitez wanting the French midfielder to stay with the Tyneside, Sissoko has other plans in mind. According to Daily Mail, the former Toulouse player will sit down with his representatives to work out an option for a summer move.

The France international arrived at St. James' Park in 2012 and since then he has made 118 appearances, netting 11 goals for his side. However, Sissoko has expressed his wish to leave the Toons this summer, telling French website Foot Mercato in June that he wanted to join a team in the Champions League.

"I gave everything there for three-and-a-half years.

"I hope that [Newcastle] will be smart enough to understand that to continue my development I need to keep playing at the highest level.

"As I want to stay in the France team I could not stay in the Championship. There will be discussions. I hope they will go in my opinion. I want to leave."

The 26-year-old still has three years left on his contract, which leaves the club in control of negotiations for a deal.
