The Polish striker gave his team an early lead against Portugal, scoring this edition's fastest goal while adding his name to the competition's all-time record books.

Polish striker Robert Lewandowski managed to make history with his first UEFA Euro 2016 goal. Bayern Munich's ace had failed to make his presence felt in the tournament, but he was able to put an end to his goal scoring issues by sending the ball into the back of the net 100 seconds after the Quarter final match against Portugal began.

Portugal's defense failed to get the ball away from their box, giving Grosicki the chance to steal it and ultimately giving Lewandowski the chance to score.

This was the second fastest goal in the tournament's history. Only Russian footballer Dimitri Kirichenko managed to score faster than the Polish striker (67 seconds). In fact, Lewandowski managed to beat the record set by Ireland's Robbie Brady, who scored just after 119 seconds during their match against France on Sunday.
