Just like in 2014 and 2015, Gonzalo Higuain wasted a golden opportunity to score the opening goal for Argentina in a final match.
"Pipita" wasn't able to score the first goal of the Copa América Centenario final, when he missed a clear chance to send the ball into the back of the net after Gary Medel showed some poor ball-handling skills.
Higuain had all the time he needed to pace himself, control the ball and decide where he wanted to place the ball, but he ended up wasting the chance by placing the ball on the wrong side of the upright.

And, as you would expect, fans had a field day trolling the Argentine striker. Here's how they remembered his performances during the 2014 World Cup Final and in the 2015 Copa América Final.
