The 2016 Copa América final will be a re-edition of the tournament celebrated one year ago in Chile. La Roja and Argentina will battle each other once more to determine who takes the title home, with La Albiceleste thirsty for revenge.
Last year, Chile won their first-ever Copa América title after an excruciating penalty shootout. Argentina's players surely don't want to remember that game, as three of their four shooters failed to score against Claudio Bravo.
This will be the second game between these two sides during the course of this tournament. On June 6th, La Albiceleste defeated Chile with a 2-1 score line.
Argentina
Gerardo Martino's team showed its credentials during the entire tournament, but their performance against the USMNT was something that stood out. During their 4-0 win in the semi-finals, Lionel Messi became his country's all-time top scorer, giving fans something to talk about with a stunning free kick goal.

For this match, the Argentine coach will have to make do without three players. Augusto Fernández and Ezequiel Lavezzi have been ruled out of the game after sustaining injuries during the match against the hosts. The other absence for La Albiceleste will be Angel Di Maria, who couldn't make it back in time to play after picking up a groin injury against Panama.
As a matter of fact, Di María was key for Argentina during the group stage match against Chile, after scoring the opening goal and providing an assist for the second one.

Chile
La Roja keeps their chances of winning back-to-back titles alive, based on the best generation of players that country has ever produced. After their unfortunate tournament debut against La Albiceleste, Pizzi's crew managed to win four games in a row, with the highlight of their 7-0 blowout against Mexico.
One of the standout performers for Chile has been Eduardo Vargas. Hoffenheim's striker is the tournament's top scorer with six goals, and he will surely want to keep his distance against Lionel Messi (five goals) and Gonzalo Higuaín (4).
Here's one of Vargas' goals against El Tri.

For this match, coach Pizzi will have one confirmed absence: Pedro Pablo Hernandez. The holding midfielder came down with a knee injury against Colombia, and he will not be able to play the final game of the tournament. Furthermore, Marcelo Diaz's fitness is a matter for concern, with his status listed as doubtful for Sunday's clash.
