PSG will welcome Benfica to Parc des Princes in their fourth Champions League group stage match on Tuesday.

Paris Saint-Germain will try to maintain their lead in Group H of the Champions League when they host a Benfica at the Parc des Princes on Tuesday night.  A week ago, both clubs played to a fun draw in Lisbon which kept both teams' perfect starts to their respective seasons intact. This time around, there will be much more to do, especially for the visitors who travel to Parc des Princes with the hope of safeguarding their impressive start to the season.

Prior to this pivotal match, both clubs are tied on 7 points in the group, hence the winner would likely guarantee a spot in the knockout rounds. On the contrary, life could get a bit tricky for the loser as a win for Juventus in their other clash with Maccabi Haifa will put them within just a point of whoever loses in the European encounter.

For PSG, the upcoming match presents the perfect opportuntiy to potentially bounce back from a setback over the weekend. The French capital club could not manage a win but kept their impressive unbeaten run going with the 1-1 draw against Reims - a game in which they did everything to win but, instead, finished with 10 men after Sergio Ramos was sent off. So far, the Ligue 1 champions have drawn their last two games and will aim to get back on track as soon as possible.

For Benfica, they will also be eager to feel less intimated by the Ligue club when they travel to Parc des Prince. The Eagles are already looking like champions with their form this term as the have been on a thirteen-match winning streak before successive draws against Vitoria SC and PSG. Over the weekend, they returned to winning ways with a 4-2 victory against Rio Ave to inside Estadio de Luz.

Since Roger Schmidt took over as the Eagles' new manager, the Portuguese club haven't lost a game. They are currently Primeira Liga leaders and are in fine form and are full of confidence going into the upcoming affair.
