Croatian defender Domagoj Vida used his right hand to deny the Czech striker a fair chance to equalize, but controversial ref Mark Clattenburg didnt' overlook the incident.

As incredible as it may seem, Mark Clattenburg got it right this time.

As the game between Croatia and Czech Republic neared its conclusion, the controversial English referee granted the Czechs a penalty kick, as defender Domagoj Vida cleared the ball with his right hand.

The incident took place during stoppage time, just minutes after the game had to be stopped due to some disturbance created by Croatian fans. Have a look at the game's defining moment.
