El Tri and La Vinotinto fight against each other to win Group C of the Copa America Centenario. Follow this game with our detailed broadcast guide.

Group C of the Copa América Centenario will witness an unexpected finale this Monday, when Mexico and Venezuela struggle to become the top seeded side for the knockout stages. Having already qualified for the next round, whoever wins will have the luxury of avoiding Argentina in the Quarter finals, with the added bonus of completing their first ever 3-for-3 group stage in the tournament's history.

Mexico currently leads the lot with six points and a goal differential of +4, with their wins against Uruguay (3-1) and Jamaica (2-0) helping them to match their best unbeaten streak ever (21 games). On the other hand, Venezuela defeated the same opponents with a similar 1-0 scoreline. Only a win will give La Vinotinto the top of Group C, while El Tri only needs a draw to keep the top seed of the group.

Mexico

Mexico's presence in the KO stage is already secured. El Tri hadn't made it past the group stage in the two most recent Copa América editions, where they only managed to draw one game out of six played. Mexico will be looking to win their group for a third time since becoming a regular guest in the tournament, something they accomplished in the 2004 and 2007 editions.

Due to the relevace of this game, coach Juan Carlos Osorio might want to give a second thought to his rotation policy. The only change in his starting lineup that's almost a certainty is the one involving the goalkeepers, where Jesús Corona is set to start. Other than that, Osorio might opt to include talented midfielder Andrés Guardado in his Starting XI along with Javier Hernández, who needs one more goal to become El Tri's all-time joint top scorer.

Will this be the game for "Chicharito" to become Mexico's all-time top scorer?

Venezuela

The 2016 version of La Vinotinto has already made its way into the team's record books, by winning two group stage matches for the first time. If that wasn't enough for Rafael Dudamel's men, striker Salomón Rondón added his name to the teams list of accomplishments, by becoming the first Venezuelan player to score at least one goal in three different Copa América editions.

The debutant coach will have all of his players available for Monday's match, with fans and experts expecting the same Starting XI that beat Uruguay and Jamaica.

Rondón (No. 9) and Josef Martínez have scored one goal each for Venezuela, giving La Vinotinto their best start in the tournament.

Did you know...?

Mexico and Venezuela have played ten against each other. El Tri is still unbeaten against la Vinotinto, winning eight and conceding two draws.

El Tri & Venezuela have played two Copa América matches prior to Monday's clash. Both of them were played in the tournament's group stage, and the Mexicans emerged victorious with similar 3-1 scores.

This will be the first match between Mexico and Venezuela since February 2007. That game was also won by the Mexicans by three goals to one.
