Croatia came into this match as the dark horses and had a rough time trying to unlock packed midfield that affected the flow of the ball. The Vatreni will now set their eyes on winning Group D to avoid facing the likes of Belgium if they finish second at the group stage. Ante Cacic’s men are also aiming to go past the quarter-finals of the competition for the first time in their history.
They face Czech Republic in their next Euro 2016 fixture on June 17th, while Turkey face Spain on the same.
