This will be Croatia's sixth appearance in the European Championship, as they hope to reach great heights in UEFA Euro 2016.
Croatia has been drawn to Group D, facing defending champions Spain as well as the Czech Republic and Turkey.
Luka Modric and Co. have been performing excellently in their recent Euro warm-ups, winning six of their last seven matches. Their most recent win was one for the books, as the Croatians lads thrashed San Marino 10-0. With this outstanding victory on June 4, Ante Čačić's crew will be heading into this top-flight tournament with the utmost confidence, thrilled for the competition to start.
The national side claimed the bronze medals in the 1998 FIFA World Cup in L'Hexagone but now with their star starting line-up, the Croatian lads believe they can go all the way and bring home the crown.
Damir Vrbanović, who is the Croatian Football Federation (HNS) general secretary hopes magic is in the air, telling UEFA.com:
"That 1998 achievement is written in golden letters in the history of Croatian football, and believe us, if we show the same faith, the same belief, and the same strength, we could do it again."
Their first challenge will be against Turkey at the Parc des Princes.
