Despite having played alongside the likes of Xavi, Iniesta, and Pires, the Chelsea playmaker claims none match the Frenchman.

Spanish playmaker Cesc Fabregas made an understandably shocking claim in a recent interview with Football Daily, as the 28-year-old named out-of-favor Arsenal man Mathieu Flamini as the best midfielder he has ever played with.

Having enjoyed success in England with Chelsea and former club Arsenal, and in Spain with Barca, the World Cup winner played alongside the likes of Blaugrana legends Xavi and Andres Iniesta, not to mention the unforgettable Gunners magician Robert Pires.

However, according to the Furia Roja ace, none compare to Arsene Wenger’s French midfield marshal, who returned back to the Emirates as a free agent back in 2013.

It is shocking that a player who can’t even make the Arsenal starting eleven is ranked as one of the greatest ever team-mates by Cesc. Watch his remarks in the video below.
