The Chilean ace has been sought out by Carlo Ancelotti, who wants to lure him away to Bayern Munich as soon as possible.

With contract negotiations between Arsenal and Alexis Sánchez stalled, a third party could swoop the talented Chilean away this summer.

According to the Daily Mail, the South American winger could shock Arsenal's supporters with a transfer away from the club, as Bayern Munich are interested in signing him. Die Roten's upcoming boss Carlo Ancelotti knows Sánchez very well after suffering with his antics while he coached Real Madrid and the striker played for Barcelona.

Sánchez begun contract negotiations with the Gunners earlier this month, but despite Wenger's optimism to have him commit to a new five-year deal, Sánchez has been deemed by Ancelotti as a top priority for his Bayern Munich project, one that could re-unite Alexis with his Chilean team-mate Arturo Vidal.

Ancelotti will become the first manager to coach in all of Europe's top five leagues.

The South American ace has played 38 games in all competitions, scoring 16 goals and handing out 11 assists for the Gunners this season. Recently, Sánchez has scored a goal in six of Arsenal's most recent seven games, keeping their chances of reaching a spot in the UEFA Champions League alive despite pressure by Manchester United and Manchester City.
