The German midfielder believes Real Madrid has what it takes to eliminate Bayern Munich from the competition he won with Die Roten back in 2013.

Former Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos doesn't care about his link to the German side, as he would find the Bavarians to be a suitable opponent for Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League Quarter Finals.

During a press conference with one of Los Blancos' sponsors, Real Madrid's No. 8 shared his thoughts about Friday's draw.

"Bayern would be a great opponent for us in the Quarter finals. Whoever we get in the draw will be a tough opponent. We have to look at what we can do, keep ourselves focused and give our best out there," Kroos stated.

The midfielder, who won the competition with the Bavarians in 2013, knows that Real Madrid is under an enormous amount of pressure from fans and experts, given that this is the only tournament in which Los Blancos have a fighting chance of adding silverware to their trophy case.

"It's really important for us to look back at what went wrong last Sunday and work to make it better," Kroos added.
