Following their resounding 3-0 win over Milan, Chelsea will look to pick up another three points at the expense of the Rossoneri when they travel to the Stadio San Siro on Tuesday, October 11th.

Chelsea will be hoping that their 3-0 win over Milan earlier this month will be the impetus they need in order to make a push for qualifying for the round of 16 in the Champions League. The Blues had initially started out very slowly, failing to pick up a win from their first two games, but the arrival of Graham Potter has since seen an improvement in the fortunes of the London giants.

The win against Milan has helped to lift the Blues into second spot in the table, level on points with the Rossoneri but behind surprise group leaders Red Bull Salzburg. Over the weekend, Chelsea earned a 3-0 win over Wolves which certainly will further boost their confidence heading into this match, despite many pundits questioning Potter's selection for that game.

The win over Wolves marks the third straight victory for Chelsea across all comps, and sees them move to fourth spot in the table. While the Blues are still a long way behind reigning champs Manchester City, they do seem to be showing signs of a positive revival.

Meanwhile, Milan come into this match having beaten Juventus 2-0 at the weekend. Their 3-0 loss to Chelsea comes as blow for Stefano Pioli's side, who are looking to qualify for the knockout rounds for the first time since the 2013/2014 season. Injuries have not helped Milan's cause, and they will come into this match still missing quite a few key players, including first choice shot-stopper Mike Maignan.

In addition, Milan have historically struggled against Chelsea, with no wins from their last five, and have a frustrating track record when it comes to playing English teams in Euorpe.
