The Belgian defender warned his team-mates to be prepared for the Gunners, as the Premier League side hope to overturn the 2-0 deficit.

North London giants Arsenal face Watford in the FA Cup, and though it remains their most realistic chance at silverware this season, the Gunners will remain wary of their upcoming Champions League tie with Barca.

Arsene Wenger’s men will travel to Camp Nou to lock horns with the defending champions in the 2nd leg of their round of 16 match-up, as the Premier League giants face the daunting task of overturning the 2-0 deficit if they wish to avoid elimination.

Given the form of Barcelona this season – they have not lost in 37 games – and the aggregate score line, not many predict Arsenal to eliminate the Blaugrana; however, former captain Thomas Vermaelen has warned the Catalan giants against counting the Gunners out.

The Belgian center-back who left Arsenal for the Catalan giants sat down with Barca for an interview, posted on their official YouTube channel, discussing the issue of the FA Cup holders' European campaign, their long-serving French manager, as well as several other topics.

“You can never say Arsenal are out because they’ll always come back, and the 2nd leg (at Camp Nou) won’t be easy,” said Vermaelen.
