The Swedish striker has been linked with a move to the Premier League all year long after failing to extend his contract with PSG.

34-year old striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic could still shock his fans with a move to the Premier League, considering Manchester United's execs keep him in their agenda for next summer's transfer window.

The Swedish footballer, who will conclude his contract with Paris Saint Germain by the end of the season, could join the Red Devils this summer if Jose Mourinho ends up signing with Manchester United to replace Louis Van Gaal as their coach. Reports from French outlet Le10Sport suggest that "The Special One" wants to team up with Zlatan once again in order to bring Man United back to greatness.

Mourinho and Zlatan have praised each other since they worked together at Inter Milan a few years ago.

Mourinho has been linked to a move to the English giants ever since he was sacked as Chelsea's boss back in December. With the team currently ranked sixth in the EPL, it seems rather unlikely to watch LVG keep his job with the Red Devils if they fail to secure Champions League football for next season.

As for Zlatan, Sweden's most popular footballer has already made a name for himself in the French top flight, becoming PSG's all-time top scorer this season, contributing to Les Parisiens' fortunes with 23 goals so far. With offers to lure him away to the MLS and Qatar, Zlatan is still a valuable commodity for a number of top-caliber teams, and a possible free transfer this summer could be too interesting for some sides to overlook.
