Two Premier League rivals Manchester United and Arsenal are set to clash at Old Trafford on Sunday. Here is everything you need to know about this epic encounter.

After losing the first leg match 3-0 at the Emirates Stadium, Louis Van Gaal’s men approach this fixture fresh from a morale-boosting 5-1 win over Midtjylland in their UEFA Europa League fixture on Thursday.

At a time when the Red Devils seemed bundled out of the European competition, it was the magical performance from Mephis Depay that turned things round. The Dutch winger, who scored the final goal of the game in the dying minutes, put a man-of-the-match performance against the Danish side and many fans of the Old Trafford outfit will be hoping that he will replicate Thursday’s performance when the Gunners come calling. Youngster Marcus Rashford also scored a brace on his debut and could be available to start against the visitors on Sunday.

On the other hand, Arsenal come into this fixture without a win in their last two games in all competitions. They were held to a goalless draw by Hull City in the FA Cup before suffering a disappointing 2-0 loss to FC Barcelona at the Emirates Stadium last Tuesday. However, they still have a chance of proceeding to the next round of the FA Cup, but the Champions League looks as good as gone if Barca’s performance in England last Tuesday is anything to go by.

But Wenger's men are well aware of the fact that this season, they have one of their greatest chance to win the Premier League title, something that has evaded them for more than a decade. Arsene Wenger is expected to field a strong side that will not only guarantee the ultimate bragging rights if they manage to beat Louis Van Gaal’ side both home and away this season, but also the much-needed three points.

Many fans and analysts also believe that this is Arsenal’s best chance to repay the 8-2 defeat they suffered in the hands of the Red Devils under the legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson back on August 28, 2011. The hosts are suffering from a major injury crisis ahead of this fixture, with 14 of their first team players seemingly doubtful. Anthony Martial is their most recent injury-hit player, who picked up suffer while warming-up against Midtjylland last Thursday.
