Karim Bellarabi was on fire as Bayer Leverkusen beat Sporting Lisbon 3-1 in their Europa League fixture on Thursday.

Bayern Leverkusen hitman Karim Bellarabi scored a spectacular goal as the Bundesliga side beat their Premeira Liga counterparts Sporting Lisbon 3-1 at the BayArena. Roger Schmidt’s men have now progressed to the next round of the competition after beating The Lions 4-1 on aggregate, and are drawn against Villarreal from Spain.

The 25-year-old, who has been a top transfer target for Premier League giants Manchester United and Arsenal, has scored two goals in the Bundesliga and provided two assists in 22 appearances. He also scored a brace in Bayer’s 3-1 win over Sporting Lisbon.
