The Gunners want to prove they can win a third straigh FA Cup title, but in order to do that, they'll have to beat The Tigers for the third straight time in the tournament's history.

Arsenal continues the quest for a third straight FA Cup title, but Hull City wants to end The Gunners' winning streak against them in this tournament.

Arsene Wenger's crew faces a crucial week, as the London-based team will have to keep in mind their mid-week Champions League clash against Barcelona, while also keeping an eye on their Premier League opponents. On the other hand, Steve Bruce's side is eager to make their presence felt in this competition, proving that they are a top caliber team nearly securing their return to the English top flight.

Arsenal

The Gunners get to this match after securing a crucial win against Leicester City last week. Danny Welbeck became the local hero for netting his first goal of an injury-plagued season, putting him in contention for a spot in the team's Starting XI. Le Prof could opt to give the starting nod to David Ospina and Calum Chambers, while Mohamed Elneny is expected to pull the strings in midfield.

This match couldn't find Arsenal in better shape, as the Gunners have won their two most recent games, giving them the chance to fight for the Premier League title against Leicester and Tottenham.

Hull City

Steve Bruce's side had dominated the Championship up until a couple of weeks ago, when the Tigers were defeated by Burnley. Their previous meeting ended up with a goalless draw against Brighton, which could see them off the top of the table if Middlesbrough can win their next match against Reading.

Aside from Adama Diomande(injury), Bruce will have his full squad to choose from for the crucial match against Arsenal.

Head to head

These teams have played eleven games against each other, with Arsenal having a commanding lead of nine wins and one draw. Regarding this tournament, Arsenal has defeated the Tigers three straight times, including the 2013-2014 FA Cup final, which saw both teams fight until the end of the extra time. Aaron Ramsey scored the game-winning goal with twelve minutes left, giving Arsenal its 11th FA Cup title back then.
