Memphis Depay was given a warm welcome at his former club PSV despite a disappointing run at Man United.

Manchester United star winger Memphis Depay made an emotional return to his former club PSV to officially say goodbye to his supporters.

The Holland international was signed by Man United from PSV last summer. During his visit to Philips Stadium, his former club thumped Twente 4-2 as the perfect gift for their former hero. Despite failing to impress his fans at Old Trafford, the Dutch winger was received by a huge number of fans at his former club.

The Holland international did not feature in the Red Devils’ 0-1 loss to Southampton at Old Trafford last weekend but was named among the substitutes. The England giants spent £25 million on his signature, but he is yet to impress at his new club. He has only scored five goals in 28 games for Luis Van Gaal’s men.

However, at the Dutch giants, he was the top scorer in 2014/2015 season with 22 goals, having inspired his club to win the league title.
