Global sport company Adidas has created special laceless boots for Arsenal midfield maestro Mesut Ozil ahead of their Premier League clash with bitter rivals Chelsea, reports The Independent.
The German midfielder missed their previous Premier League clash with Stoke City due to a minior foot injury. The two sides failed to find the back of the net, consequently salvaging a point each. His absence was quite notable; the Gunners failed to convert crucial chances into goals, something that he has perfectly specialized in.
However, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger confirmed that the star midfielder will be available for the weekend clash against Chelsea. If he features in the much-anticipated game, he will wear his new customized boots known as the ACE+PureControl from Adidas.

The 27-year-old also revealed why he hates wearing boots with laces:
"My whole career I have tried to minimise the impact of laces on my strike and ball control.’’
"I revealed to Adidas in 2014 that in the changing room I knot the laces over and over again and then tuck in the ends, that way they do not interfere with my touch. When they came to me last year with the laceless boots, it was like they have created my dream product. I cannot wait to wear them on the pitch.
The former Real Madrid man is the player with the most number of assists (16) in the Premier League this season, and things could get even better with his new boots.
