Manchester City will welcome Everton to the Etihad on Wednesday, the 13th of January in a Premier League encounter. Check the live TV and online streaming broadcast listings for Man City vs Everton.

The two sides are set to face one another for a second time in a week's span, this time in a Premier League encounter. Everton hosted Manchester City in the first leg of the Capital One Cup semi-final on the sixth of January in a match the toffees won by a 2-1 score line thanks to Romelu Lukaku's 78th minute winner, this was just two minutes after Jesus Navas had equalised in response to Ramiro Funes Mori's goal in the first half.

The Citizens are aiming for their third league title in five seasons but currently find themselves third in the league behind Leicester City and Arsenal. Summer signing Raheem Sterling has however insisted that the players must not focus on their title rivals and that they must concentrate on their own game.

"We just need to focus on what we need to do to win the Premier League and not worry about other teams and what they’re doing," he told the club's website.

"That way, we don’t let anything affect our thinking and purely focus on our own performance."

"We’ve played a lot of away games over the past fortnight so we’re looking forward to playing in front of our own fans again on Wednesday."

Sterling did not play a part when the two sides met in the league cup earlier in the season and the former Liverpool man is eager to make a difference in the upcoming encounter.

"I’ve never come up against the same team as often as this and it is a pretty quick turnaround," Sterling added.

"But I didn’t play in the semi-final first leg last week so I obviously hope to be involved this time."

Vincent Kompany will remain on the sidelines for Wednesday's match alongside French international Samir Nasri. Eliaquim Mangala and Wilfried Bony on the other hand have a chance to return to the side.

Everton will be hoping that the league's top scorer Romelu Lukaku can return to fitness, the Belgian is currently struggling with an ankle knock. The likes of Tom Cleverley, Steven Naismith and Ramiro Funes Mori are doubtful for the match. Whereas Seamus Coleman and James McCarthy will not be available.
