The Blues thrashed Crystal Palace 3-0, showing reminiscence of their title-winning self from 2014/15.

On Sunday, fans of Chelsea who were dying to see their club replicate their form which saw them lift the 2014-15 English Premier League crown were treated to the slightest of taste with the 3-0 win over Crystal Palace.

The Blues, who recently underwent a managerial swap-up, with Jose Mourinho heading out and Guus Hiddink coming in, are unbeaten in their last three games since the Dutch boss’ arrival, winning 1 and drawing two.

They’ve also scored 5, with the only victory coming courtesy of their victory at Selhurst Park, one which has captain John Terry confident that the club are slowly returning to their title-winning form of last term.

"I think it was the Chelsea of last season," said the Englishman.

"The football was first class. We kept the football in tough conditions – it was rainy and windy, with a lot of zip on the surface. Overall, as well as the goals, we were a different class.

"I'm not sure [why we were more fluent] – new year, new start? We have to keep winning games. We've had couple of draws of late and have been unlucky not to pick up more points.

"We're delighted with three points, it feels good and that's a feeling we want."

John Terry was also full of praise for Hiddink, as the interim manager looks to stabilize the mess left behind by the Special One.

"He's been great since he's come in," the former English center back added. "It's unfortunate what's happened, we've let everyone down [before].

"But the new man has come in, like he did last time, picked everyone up and you can see we've gone again.

"That [level of performance] has always been there. It's unfortunate it wasn't earlier in the season but we are where we are – and slowly climbing this league table."
