Sweden come into this match in good form having won both of their last two matches with a 2-0 score line. They had a decent Euro Qualification campaign especially when playing at home , having suffered just a single defeat in their five home qualifying matches.
Denmark on the other hand suffered defeats in both of their last two matches and recorded just a single away victory in the Euro 2016 Qualification campaign. To make matters worse for Denmark, they have not scored in their last three competitive outings, two of which have ended in defeats.
Sweden will be hoping to take advantage of this with captain Zlatan Ibrahimovic desperate to guide his side to the tournament. Sweden failed to make it to the World Cup held in Brazil last year after losing to Portugal in the playoffs and the PSG forward has warned his teammates that they should avoid making mistakes if they are to achieve their goal.
"I want to be there, I have to be there," he said when asked about Euro 2016.
"I would do anything to be there. We must believe we can make it until the end.
"They will be two tough matches, like the last Champions League match with PSG against Real Madrid. We played well, committed one error, conceded and lost.
"The two matches with Denmark will be similar. Whoever makes fewer mistakes will win."
Ibra made his international debut back in 2001 and has now scored 59 goals for his nation in 109 appearances. His growing age has given birth to rumors surrounding his retirement but the 34 year old has expressed his eagerness to continue.
"I don't think they will be my last games for Sweden – my age is not telling me to stop."
"I don't know [if I will return to Swden] as I left so many years ago. I have to find somewhere where I am able to live the way I want to.
"That could be Stockholm, but who knows. I won't exclude it, but it also depends on my family.”
