Real Madrid regained the lead of La Liga with a 3-0 win against Levante. Both teams are still undefeated after eight games.

When La Liga started, barely anyone could have had imagined that Real Madrid and Celta Vigo would be sharing the first two spots in the table of La Liga after eight games. With 18 points for each and only a goal differential favoring Madrid, this game seems to be more interesting than what it looked like back in August.

Real Madrid struggled halfway through the week to find the back of the net and left Paris with a scoreless draw. When it comes to La Liga, the team managed by Rafa Benitez has scored 18 times and only allowed two goals. Their goal differential of +16 sets them seven goals ahead of Vigo.

Real Madrid's defense with and without Sergio Ramos has been pretty solid. Even better than their defense is the work done by Keylor Navas. The Costa Rican goalkeeper has saved his net in countless occasions, showing that he really deserves his spot as the starter and a great substitute for Iker Casillas.

Cristiano Ronaldo's goal against Levante erased any doubts on who is the all-time leading scorer in Madrid. The 30-year-old striker could not continue with his fire against PSG and missed one clear opportunity that could have given his team three points at Parc des Princes.

Gareth Bale may be available for this game and hopes to do great as the criticism from fans grows every week. He already made history with Wales as the qualified for their first major tournament since the 1954 World Cup. The Welshman feels very proud of that and hopes it can motivate him to do better with his club.

Karim Benzema is also another player that could come out from injury to play against Celta. He recently rejoined the team practice sessions and will be a game-time decision for Benitez. The Frensh striker is currently in second place of the leading scorers list in La Liga with six goals.

James Rodriguez will still continue his rehab process. The Colombian midfielder was one of the goalscorers in the most recent match between both teams. That time, Madrid won 4-2 despite the fact that Vigo got an early lead. The team from the Spanish capital has a record fo 20 wins, three draws and eleven defeats against Celta.

The biggest advantage for Celta Vigo is playing at home. That does not guarantee anything, but it can play a factor with the crowd rooting against Madrid.

Most of their hopes up front lie on what Nolito and Aspas can do. The attacking duo is in good form this season and could give Navas and the Merengue defense a lot of trouble. Nolito is actually tied with Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo with six goals so far this season. Aspas has scored four times in the first eight games.

Celta Vigo's best result so far this season was beating Barcelona 4-1 at home. That really showed what the team is capable of and that they do not fear any team no matter what their name is. Andreu Fontas and Dejan Drazic will be ready to play Madrid as they come back from their respective injuries for this game.
