Ireland will host Germany at the Aviva Stadium on Thursday, the 8th of October in a Euro Qualifying match. Check the live TV and online streaming broadcast listings for Ireland Republic vs Germany below.

The World Champions are currently top of Group D and will be hoping to maintain that when they face Ireland in an away match. They did not have the easiest of fixtures when they faced Scotland last time out in a match which finished 3-2 in favor of Joachim Low's side.

Scotland fought valiantly till the end and came back twice from behind after Muller scored a brace. But Gundogan's goal in the 54th minute proved to be the winner as Germany bagged all three points.
Germany will now welcome back Borussia Dortmund playmaker Marco Reus to the squad for the final two matches against Ireland and Georgia. Reus missed the country's qualifiers against Poland and Scotland after suffering from a toe injury. Germany managed to record victories in both the matches, should they now avoid defeat when they face Ireland in Dublin, they will qualify for Euro 2016 to be held in France.

Germany head coach Joachim Low is confident that his team can achieve just that and has hailed the level of quality in his squad.

"Our goal is to win the two games against Ireland and Georgia and to qualify as group winners for the European Championship in France," said Low.

"I have great confidence in the players. These players are regularly called upon with their clubs in the league and at European level, they have a good rhythm."

Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper Bernd Leno earned a call up to the national side for the first time, being selected ahead of Hannover's Ron-Robert Zieler. Germany goalkeeping coach Andreas Kopke claimed that Leno's selection was down to a string of consistent performances for his club.

"I have already said that behind Manuel Neuer on the position of the goalkeeper we have several candidates in mind.

"I told Ron-Robert Zieler we know what he can do and what we have in him. Bernd Leno has earned this nomination through consistent and good [performances] at Bayer Leverkusen."

Ireland on the other hand are currently third in the table and will be looking to cause an upset at the expense of the World Champions. They were against Georgia last time out, a match which was settled through a solitary goal from Jon Walters.
