If some fans had second thoughts about what Keylor Navas could do to help Real Madrid, the Latin American goalkeeper has earned their trust with his performances on the pitch. Today, the Costa Rican player ended up being key to Real Madrid's complicated victory over Granada, with massive saves throughout the game that helped Los Blancos reach the top of La Liga, hoping Barcelona can slip on Sunday.
This game was supposed to be a blowout for Real Madrid, considering the previous games between both sides. Nevertheless, Granada came closer to scoring the go ahead goal during the first half, even with a disallowed goal for a dubious offside position.
Was El Arabi onside?
But as the game got tougher, Navas stood up and delivered when needed.

Navas has been able to keep a clean sheet in all of this year's five games, including mid-week's Champions League matchup against Shakhtar. With just five games as the team's No. 1 choice keeper, the Costa Rican is already making his way into Real Madrid's record books.
