The Portuguese striker, best man at his agen'ts wedding, is believed to have bought a Greek island for the owner of the Gestifute agency.

We all know Cristiano Ronaldo for his deeds on the pitch. We are aware he is one of the toughest competitors in the history of football, but when it comes to showing people he cares, he is also one of the best. But perhaps his latest antic could very well go down in history as the best wedding gift EVER.

Reports coming from Spain, Portugal and the United Kingdom suggest that CR7 wanted to thank Jorge Mendes for all he's done for him as his agent and friend, and after performing the best-man duties at the agent's wedding, reports flew in about the player's gift for the owner of Gestifute: a Greek island!

Although these reports have to be confirmed, the complicated economical scenario in that country suggests that Cristiano Ronaldo took advantage of this situation in order to give Mendes something he would never forget. If you search Google for Greek Islands on sale, you will find out that Greek Islands can be bought for prices ranging from around 3 million euros up to €50 million. In fact, some sources have indicated that CR7 bought the island of Nissos Sofia, with a price tag of €4 million. The "shape" of this piece of land could easily be linked to the Portugese footballer.

After the wedding ceremony, coach Rafa Benitez revealed that the striker would not be playing the Audi Cup match against Tottenham tomorrow. Perhaps he is still busy signing all the gift's paperwork...
